The Phoenix Consort: Renewal
The programme presents a variety of choral works from the European Renaissance, crowned by the renowned piece by Gregorio Allegri, Miserere Mei. We will explore the transition from grief to resurrection, spanning five centuries of choral works up to compositions by British composers including William Byrd, Thomas Tallis, Lucy Walker, John Sheppard and Bob Chilcott.
