London Song Festival: A Passionate Love Affair – Ralph & Ursula

Ralph and Ursula’s story is told in words and music by ‘twin’ Ralphs; baritone Julien Van Mellaerts and actor John D Collins, and ‘twin’ Ursulas; mezzo soprano Lotte Betts-Dean singing settings of Ursula’s poetry including specially commissioned songs by Roderick Williams, and actress Harriet Slater. With pianist Nigel Foster, the programme also incudes music by Jonathan Dove, Anthony Payne, Roger Steptoe, Alun Hoddinott and Jeremy Dale Roberts.
