Festival Launch Concert by Director of the Royal College of Music, Colin Lawson will be launching this year’s festival and featuring quintessential Arnold brass works.

The Alina Orchestra conducted by Hillary Davan Wetton presents Arnold’s smaller-scale orchestral works including his Horn Concerto and Variations on a Ukrainian Folk Song.

The Northampton Symphony Orchestra conducted by John Gibbons presents Arnold’s dynamic orchestral works from his Viola Concerto to Sound Barrier. As well as works Ruth Gipps.

A talk presented by clarinetist, Janet Hilton who worked with Malcolm during her recording of the first clarinet concerto and also his late Wind Octet.

John Griff will explore Malcolm’s work with legendary film maker, David Lean.
