Heart’s Ease: Spirituality in the Music of John Tavener

A themed concert following introductory talks to mark the publication of Heart’s Ease, the first book to examine the music of John Tavener. Editor June Boyce-Tillman and contributor Dr Brian Inglis will introduce the book and its themes followed by performances of Tavener’s highly distinctive music by the Middlesex University choir and BA/MA music students.
