Concert of Thanet Music

Thanet Light Orchestra will play music by Alfred Wall, Bill Worland, Susan Spain-Dunk, Alan Ridout and Hubert Clifford. The programme will include the exuberant, recently rediscovered Thanet Concert Overture in its centenary year. The programme will also include the rare gem of light music Broadstairs Suite, the Deal march Kentonia, a Sinfonietta with Canterbury links, and a Kentish Suite, whose movements refer to Dover, Canterbury, our bucolic countryside, Gad’s Hill, and Greenwich.
