BMS members are invited to join baritone Jeremy Huw Williams and pianist Wendy Hiscocks at this year’s Welsh Eisteddfod for the official Naxos launch of our next recording.
Signings of the Grace Williams song CD by the artists will be available at the Ty Cerdd stand, 7 August at 3pm, where members are invited to enjoy a glass of wine (compliments of Naxos) and a short performance.
If you arrive a little earlier in the day, you can attend Discover Welsh Music, a lunchtime concert on the Encore stage (next to the Ty Cerdd stand) presented by Ty Cerdd and the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama featuring Grace Williams’ Flute Sonatina.
This is Wales’ biggest cultural event of the year that attracts thousands of visitors, as well as hundreds of stalls and a whole week of presentations and competitions.
There’s plenty to entice you to Pontypridd, and it’s only a short walk from the railway station to the park where this year’s Eisteddfod is being staged.
