Recital featuring Dance to the Piper’s Tune
This recital will feature the world premiere of Wendy Hiscocks’ Dance to the Piper’s Tune performed by John Turner (recorder) and the Victoria String Quartet. Also included in the programme is the world premiere of Lesley-Jane Rogers Sarabande-Elegy, and other works by Thomas Pitfield, Edward Gregson, Robin Walker, Martin Ellerby and John Paynter. This recital is taking place in memory of Margaret, beloved wife of the recorder player John Turner.
