One of the UK’s foremost recording choirs, The London Choral Sinfonia marks its 10th anniversary – and a decade of album recordings – with On Christmas Night, a festive collection of classic carols in vivid new orchestrations to be launched on 21 November.
Led by conductor Michael Waldron, highlights include star treble Malakai Bayoh’s continuation of his illustrious career to date, featuring as the soloist in a brand new arrangement of Howard Blake’s Walking in the Air.
Elsewhere, Emma Bell, one of Britain’s leading sopranos across several decades, takes centre stage on featured single O Holy Night as well as Awake Glad Heart!, in a collection that presents innumerable festive favourites whilst offering audiences brand new ways to rediscover the melodies of classical Christmas.
