My Heart Makes Songs On Lonely Roads

Taking inspiration from Ian Venables’s cycle The Pine Boughs Past Music, Claire Habbershaw and Rachel Roper perform a recital of songs by Ivor Gurney and composers linked to him, including Howells, Venables, Finzi, Vaughan Williams, Elgar and Stanford.Claire will give the world live performance premiere of Gurney’s piano piece “Autumn”.
