Gregynog Festival 2022: Llyr Williams

The Welsh virtuoso plays Beethoven’s ‘Pathétique’ Sonata plus compositions influenced by folksong by Tchaikovsky, Bartók and Warlock. Bartók visited Warlock at his Montgomeryshire home after making his UK public recital début at Aberystwyth on 16 March 1922, and Llŷr’s recital marks the centenary of these remarkable events.
